THE KEY WEST EXPERIENCE
(6 days, 5 nights or more) ::
|
The Difference here is how long you wish to stay at our ultimate destination:
Key West. The trips down and back should each take two days, stopping a
night at either Islamorada, Duck Key or Hawk Cay on the way down and, for
the sake of variety, visiting one of the other for an overnight on the way back.
Key West itself has more than enough going on to occupy two or three days
and nights. We will dock at one of several available marinas in Key West Bight
which puts you just steps away from the heart of town and all the bars, clubs,
restaurants and other attractions of Duval Street and surrounds. Whether
you choose the Galleon Marina or the Hilton Resort Marina, we
guarantee you amenities that will put you and your guests at ease, the way of
life in Key West.
If you wish, daytime activities can include taking your yacht out to such places
as Sand Key or Rebecca Shoal for snorkeling, swimming, using the
Wave Runner or simply getting away from land for a while. On the other hand,
Key West has so much going on you can leave your yacht docked the whole
three days and just use it as your floating hotel. Either way, you`ll have a
delightful time. In Key West, there`s no such thing as a boring day-or night!
From museums-Hemmingway`s House, the Lighthouse Museum, or the new
Art & History Museum housed in Key West`s old Custom House-to honky-tonks-the
original Sloppy Joe`s & Captain Tony`s (which was really the original
sloppy Joe`s! to such tour-isty but fun activities as the Conch Tour Train,
you`ll never be at a loss for something to do by day or night. Key West is also
home to many, many quality restaurants including Louie`s Back Yard, the
Pier House and the A&B Lobster House, just to name a few.
The area is also full of history (Key West was well settled and an active port
long before it was reachable by car); plus it`s the southernmost city in the
continental United States which makes it a worthy destination for that fact
alone.
Whether you opt for six days or a full week, your Key West trip is bound
to be a most memorable cruise.
